What an amazing little deli. The service was exceptional on all levels. The Buster Meatball Sandwich with a salad was better than I expected. Will return to try other sandwiches in the near future.
I have never had pasta this good. Hands down in the top 5 restaurants in the Trinidad area, you MUST try it The food is absolutely astounding, the place itself only has a few tables so getting your food to go is a good idea. We waited less than 20 minutes for fresh and incredibly hot food. Not only is it an incredible restaurant it is also an extensive deli counter with meats and cheeses, the homemade cannolis are out of this world!! It's also a small Italian grocer, they have a massive variety of imported sauces and oils and you can buy their sauce and meatballs pre made to cook with at home We had the ravioli in sauce with meatballs and Frans special spaghetti with meatballs, I still have some in my fridge and still I cannot wait to go back!
Food was wonderful. Service was ok. Didn't appreciate the plastic cutlery and disposable plates. Personally, I would prefer to pay a little more and not put extra plastic into landfill. But, as I went there for the food and it was excellent Italian cuisine, Nana and Nano's scrapes four stars.
So glad we stopped here. Heard good reviews. thought we’d check it out ourselves. Best Italian food we’ve ever had. Staff was outstanding.meal came with garlic bread and fresh salad that was so crisp. Visiting here for two months and will definitely return.
Stopped here on the way to Santa Fe from Denver. Loved the homey feel- even got some bibs to protect our clothes! Small kitchen and each order has lots of attention. They were very careful of gluten free. Unfortunately, the meatballs and sausage are not gluten free but the chicken was yummy. I enjoyed the tomato sauce. And the GF sliced bread was yummy too! I appreciated that they clearly labeled the GF box. They also had super good macaroons.
Such a great taste in everything we had! It's well seasoned and makes you feel nice and warm after! It's easy to pass by, but it's not easy to forget about once you've had it! The customer service just makes the place that much more memorable! We came in with no expectations and left more than pleased thanks again ladies!! We had the montys sub, 2 kids portioned of Alfredo, and the chicken Alfredo! It all tastes so fresh and homemade!
We found this unusual, small, Italian Diner by accident. All we can say is, you need to visit if you ever go to Trinidad on Colorado. Walking in to this small place is like going back in time and meet your family. Mama Mia. This is one of the last original Old fashion Diners we know of. The people are wonderful and their food is still home made. We loved it, and if we ever visit Colorado again, we will most certain pop back in. Thank you for keeping this place up.
Wonderful Italian restaurant with delicious food and excellent service that has been owned and operated an Italian family for multiple generations. The owner Nana came out to meet us to see how we liked the food which we appreciated which we appreciated and is so rare these days. This is a small and quaint restaurant but very popular and busy restaurant with limited sitting. It also has a deli along with grocery items. We had the beef ravioli and spaghetti and meatballs. The portions are large which allowed us to take some home. They have many desserts and we had the tiramisu. Everything was delicious. Loved the hometown feel of this restaurant. Highly recommend!
